What to see/expect
Lake Bunyonyi
The lake gets its name “Bunyonyi” from the many varied small-sized birds around it. The green and lush terraced hills around punctuate with a plethora of over 200 bird species. That makes it a perfect ideal place for bird enthusiasts. Besides bird watching, one can join activities like canoeing, swimming, and hikes/nature walks, giving you a feeling of tradition and culture from surrounding communities.
Gorilla trekking
Bwindi forest harbors approximately 400 gorillas, half of the world’s surviving mountain gorilla population, and it is the only park in Africa that shelters both mountain gorillas and chimpanzees. Only relatively few gorilla families have been habituated for visits with humans.Gorilla trekking is one of the most populous activities in Uganda’s tourism and this is because of the emotions and touching feeling once you get to meet these endangered lost relatives of ours.
Queen Elizabeth national park
Queen Elizabeth is Uganda’s second-largest national park covering 1,978 square kilometres (763 square miles). Its notable water bodies, Lake Edward and Lake George, have made it the best park for wildlife safaris. The astounding game in Queen Elizabeth National Park includes lions, warthogs, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, leopards, and waterbucks to name just a few.
A boat safari on (Kazinga channel which is famous for habitating the largest number of Hippopotamus) is one of the highlights in this national park.

Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest
Today you will wake up early for breakfast, gather your provisions, including a box lunch, and depart for the park headquarters for your encounter with the giant mountain gorillas. There will be a briefing with the park’s professional guides who will thoroughly explain the day’s activities and what to expect with your encounter with a habituated gorilla family. Habituated gorillas are still wild but through a lengthy, careful process of desensitization are comfortable in the presence of humans. Time taken to track the gorillas can be as few as 2 hours to as many as 7 hours. However, to minimize stress to these precious wild creatures, your visit with them is limited to no more than one hour per day. Your park gorilla trekking permit is limited to this one-time, one-hour experience. After tracking you will travel back to Lake Bunyonyi.

Queen Elizabeth National park
As early as 0630hrs, you will start a morning game drive to Kasenyi savannah plains. Kasenyi is mostly known for its lions that have concentrated there due to big numbers of antelopes in the area. Lions, leopards and hyenas are among the big predators found in Queen Elizabeth. A game drive in kasenyi will bring you closer to other animals like elephants, buffaloes, kobs, warthogs and much more. In the early afternoon, you will have a 2-hour boat safari on the famous Kazinga channel. Get ready to see hundreds of hippos and other thirsty animals that come to the waterhole to drink or bathe.
